Rabbit recipe review

I started my dog on the beef recipe , which was my trial bag of food. She liked it, and I used it to mix with her homemade raw diet, of bison, lamb and turkey. I supplement her diet also with Dinovite 3 in 1 daily immune support and also with Wuffes, advanced hip and joint support. She was already eating healthy and raw, made by me at home, but I thought I would try something new for her. I followed the instructions with introducing the new food. I ordered my second shipment which was the raw rabbit, and she is eating it as well, but not 100% yet. She wouldn't eat the duck morsal treats that came with it. I haven't seen any change yet, but as I said, she was already eating raw and healthy, so hard to tell. She is 13 and in great shape and energy, walks 2 miles a day with no problems. I attribute her good health to never eating kibble or regular dog food. I have tried 3 other raw companies, and Little Hunter formula is the one she most prefers due to its' size and softer consistency.

Pup won't eat

It may be great for some pups, but our shepherd just ate one cup and now turns away from the meal.

A Satisfied Sunny

My dog Sunny has food sensitivities to chicken, beef, and almost all the regular proteins. I searched far and wide for a food that didn't harm his tummy. I was cooking his meals for a while. I found an option, but the subscription continuously packaged less food than I was paying for, and my active dog lost weight. Finally, a kibble that offers a novel meat like rabbit comes along and my dog took it without a missed beat. He also gained weight :) and is finally (and quickly) at a normal weight.

Our fur babies love Little Hunter rabbit recipe

Our fur babies absolutely love the rabbit recipe! We ordered it because two of our dogs have problems with some proteins, and we heard that rabbit is supposed to be better for sensitivities and allergies. They have done well on Little Hunter food.

My Maltese loves the little hunter rabbit

My only complaint is that my dog starts barking the minute I take out the little hunter bag and doesn’t stop until she gets it. I put the food in a ball dispenser that has holes and she has to roll it around until the pieces fall out. If I were to put the rabbit in a dish she would gobble it all down in a second. LITTLE HUNTER RABBIT IS A HUGE HIT. ONLY WISH IT WAS MORE AFFORDABLE. . I don’t see how you can feed a big dog with it unless you’re really well off. As is I give my dog a science diet canned food in the morning and a quarter cup of LITTLE HUNTER at night. It must be delicious. I love the ingredients and wish Little Hunter could be her only food. She loved the salmon but unfortunately it’s not available. I really liked giving her fish instead of meat. In addition LIITTLE HUNTER HAS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. .EXCELLENT

Dukes favorite choice!

Although Duke's not a picky eater, he's got a very sensitive tummy; as some Boston Terriers do. I love the rabbit meal option because the meat is good for his digestion. He's has less gas by having added this to daily intake. I enjoy not having too much clean up or extra serving gadgets to use with this product, love that its read to use (eat in his case).

This stuff is the best!

My Broo cannot wait for me to put his bowl down—and his poo firmed up within a day (one day!!) after being a squishy disaster on the air-dried food we were using!! We’ll be loyal for life!!

Pups love it !! Great customer service. Bags are small, quantity in bags are also very little. I have 2 small pups (12 - 16 lb) and use this as an add on to their homemade food (appropriately 80- 100g daily ) and we go through a bag every 6-7 days. So doing the math, it’s just as expensive as making their food being the rabbit formula. Again - pups love it so much, will continue to be a customer

Great stuff

Fast shipping and my puppy loves it! I appreciate the flavor options so I can mix it up for him a little bit. Freezedried food is easy to store and travel with. The liver treats are his absolute favorite, so we use them for training. Overall, I am a happy customer.
