So pleased with this food

I have a 2 year old standard poodle that has multiple allergies. I have tried so many different brands of dog food and have been disappointed every time. She would eat it for a week or two and then stop eating it. It was a chore to try to coax her into eating every meal. Every food she was on we had issues with loose stools too. We were giving her Metamucil per our vet’s recommendation to help with stool consistency.

We decided to give Little Hunter a try. My dog absolutely loves it! We are almost two months in and she still gets excited to eat every meal! She never leaves a single kibble! We also have zero stool issues anymore and no longer has to take Metamucil! I gave the review 4 stars only due to the cost of the product. When we originally signed up, we went along with the recommended bags for my dog and we have since then had to increase it by a couple of bags each order to meet her feeding requirements and to try to get her to maintain her weight. I know it is a premium food with premium ingredients, it’s just super expensive to maintain a 40 lb dog on it.

So far so good. My little frenchie was so itchy on her other food( a hybrid of homemade and freeze dried with turkey as the main protein) the homemade I with tilapia as the main protein. We switched to little hunter beef and it’s only been a few weeks but we can tell the difference. She isn’t rubbing and rolling on the floor like she was and not licking her paws.

My three dogs love the food, and the customer service is excellent!

I have three dogs, and one was experiencing serious skin problems. I wanted to upgrade their food to something cleaner when I discovered Little Hunter. The dogs love it, and it is convenient. I love knowing they are getting good nutrition. I have also had to contact customer service on two occasions, and they are great!
